Leadership / Mentorship
The relationships Todd and Nicole established with their mentors have evolved from simply professional to life-long friendships they will cherish forever. As Nicole would describe their experience, “Our lives are so rich and our perspective has been shaped by the people we associate with. The way we look at the future has changed for the better.” The Ryders feel as though they will never be able to repay their mentors directly, but that it is their responsibility to do so by leading and mentoring others in achieving their own dreams, making an impact on others and ultimately living a life of financial freedom.
Todd and Nicole’s main goal as leaders is to teach those they mentor that in today’s world you can be successful and live a life of integrity— and you don’t have to compromise your beliefs to achieve your goals. These are principles which they were exposed to from their own leadership and mentorship. By being a leader, it is your responsibility to teach professional skills and the knowledge of business concepts. But even more importantly, is your responsibility to help your team establish a moral compass, build a sense of personal accountability, and to learn to not live among the silent majority, but rather in the spirit of humility and generosity through serving others. Based on this ideal, Todd has made it his own personal mission to be a mentor of men, both in principle and as an example of being a ‘good guy’ who is also highly successful.
The Ryders believe that the most impactful leaders do so through their actions. When you observe something, it becomes part of what you are. Todd explains this further, “Lessons that you observe in life, you will find yourself duplicating and those are very powerful.” Living a life of integrity and accountability, 100% of the time, is important because if you are not consistent across all areas of your life then your negative actions will ultimately catch up with you and derail your path to success.
Todd and Nicole aim to provide leadership to those chasing their dreams. To help keep their eye on the prize and not lose focus on their goals. And, to ultimately support and motivate them in living out their passions. The Ryders are thankful everyday that they get to live their dream of having an impact on others and making a difference in the community; which would not have been possible without the mentorship they have received.
